Good for
Bio → Hannah Manocchio is the artist and owner of Snakes + Acey's: a small silkscreen shop in the heart of Little Italy. Her focus is to create artwork and merchandise that deals with social justice, inclusivity, and history. She additionally teaches art programs to inner city and after school youths. Hannah joined FIG's advisory team in 2020 and became a teaching staff member in fall of last year.
Bio → Malcolm Bellew is a trained graphic designer, and primarily works with digital media design, and large-format print design, including manual (by hand) silk-screen printing. He uses creative software programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign, and prints with plastisol-based inks for screen printing. Clients have different problems, which require different solutions. Keeping an arsenal of creative weapons on hand at all times is the form, and serving client needs is the function. Malcolm has taught silkscreen projects to different neighborhood groups through FIG. He looks to give back to the community with his work with youth and emerging designers.
